The studio

Small enough to talk to,
staffed enough to deliver

SteadyScenes is led by two founders who still cut, grade and animate every day. Behind them is a team that lets us take on volume and hold deadlines that a two-person shop couldn't. You get senior hands on your project either way.

The founders

You talk to the people
who do the work

SteadyScenes is led by two founders who are still hands-on in every project. There is no layer between you and the edit.

Editing, structure and sound

Sakith Suhanjala

Co-Founder · Edit & Story Lead

I start every project in the transcript, not the timeline. If the structure is wrong, no amount of grading saves it. Most of my week is spent finding the version of a story that earns its runtime.

Motion graphics, colour and delivery

Devinda Mahasen

Co-Founder · Motion & Finishing Lead

I handle everything after the cut is locked: motion, grade, and getting files out the door on spec. I'd rather spend an extra hour on a transition than ship something that only works at full screen.

Why SteadyScenes

Four reasons studios
keep sending us work

The four things we hold ourselves to on every single project, no matter the size of the budget.

Four commitments, every project

  1. Built for you, not from a template

Every project starts from your footage, your brand and your audience, never a preset we reach for twice. The treatment is designed before a single cut is made.

  2. On-time delivery, agreed up front

First cut in 3-5 business days, revision rounds inside 48 hours, and rush turnaround when you need it. The schedule is set before we start and we hold it.

  3. Fair, transparent pricing

Clear scope, clear numbers, no surprise line items. Our process is tuned so the budget goes into the work on screen rather than into overhead.

  4. One house standard

Every deliverable is graded, mixed and QC'd against the same bar before it leaves the studio, whether it is a 60-second spot or a batch of thirty shorts.

How we work

A process that removes
the guesswork from post

Four stages, fixed checkpoints, and a named lead who stays on your project from brief to delivery.

  1. 01

    Brief & scope

A call with one of the founders, not an account manager. We agree the deliverable list, the schedule and the number in writing before anything starts.

  2. 02

    Footage & treatment

You send footage however suits you. We come back with a treatment: structure, reference, music direction and the look we're aiming for.

  3. 03

    First cut & revisions

First cut lands in 3-5 business days with timestamped comments open. Revision rounds turn around inside 48 hours.

  4. 04

    Finishing & delivery

Grade, mix, captions and every format on the deliverable list, plus project files if you want them. Archived for twelve months.
